It Fits!

Great news guys! All my luggage fits and my suitcase is way underweight! I am done here.

I usually don't put nearly this much thought into packing, and even less into clothing myself...but since we are leaving the day after Christmas, I felt it necessary.

The thought process behind my madness below is really very logical if you were inside my head :)

Since we are leaving the day after Christmas, I needed to make sure that I had everything I needed. This is even more important, due to the drive I will be making at 5 am to get to the Nashville airport. I didn't want to impose on Christmas with my family, so I decided to map it all out now so December 23rd I can put it all back the way it was and enjoy Christmas!

I had no idea what to pack..and I have always been horrible at dressing myself, so I spelled out enough outfits to get me there and back!

As I wrote out my outfits, I began laying everything out outfit by outfit. By the end of it all, this is what the insanity looked like (the floor is not photographed for a reason).

Considering all the rain we will endure, that we will be there over New Years 2018 and my 21st birthday, in addition to the fact that it is winter; packing and packing lightly was a struggle. I landed on the following:

5 pairs of pants

5 sweaters

1 sweatshirt

1 jacket

1 belt

7 tops

2 dresses

3 pairs of sleep shorts

5 sleep shirts

1 sleep sweatpants

2 skarves

4 pairs of shoes

14 pairs of underwhere

4 bras

6 pairs of socks

1 double layer coat

1 bathroom bag

That's a lot you may say. She can't fit that into one suitcase you may say.

Well friends... I did!

All packed and ready to go!

Yes my bathroom bag will be bigger once I get everything in it, and yes I probably forgot something and still need room for souvenirs..but it fits!

It didn't stop there. Once I was on a roll I just couldn't stop. I decided that while I am at it, and since the trip takes place when it does, I should also pre-pack my carry on.

This is the carry on I found to take, all packed and ready! A backpack is always a good choice when it comes to traveling and why not be cute while your at it.

In my carry on I have:

1 computer

1 case with accessories

1 Surface Pro charger

1 phone charger

1 watch charger

1 pair of beats

3 UK adapters

1 passport

1 wallet

1 travel bag

1 fuzzy sweatshirt

1 pack of thank yous

Tissues, chap stick, hand sanitizer, perfume, and a mini hairbrush

I also plan to have my incredibly vital camera (as I am taking a photography class) as my personal item on the plan as well.

IT IS HAPPENING! HOME, CHRISTMAS EVE, CHRISTMAS, NASHVILLE, HOUSTON, LONDON, DUBLIN, NEWARK, NASHVILLE, LOUISVILLE...THEN SEMESTER 2 JR YEAR!
